E.N.I: The Experimental Noise Incinerator was an instrumental rock band that played live and recorded in 
Massachusetts and Rhode Island between 1998 and early 2004.

Guitarist Mike Horton and drummer Don Anderson, who previously performed together in Tangled Food Chain, had been recording a number of improvised and experimental pieces of music, later formulating and restructuring them into songs. This is the formula used in the earlier stages of TFC's material, and later with All We Are.

This time it was just Mike and Don carrying the torch until bassist Jason
Pond had moved back from a 6-year residence in NH. He played with Mike and Don in a band called Hostile Fetus back in 1991-'92.

He was just in time to take up bass guitar duties. They made an active decision not to pursue a vocalist after being inspired by such bands as Mogwai, Ozric Tentacles, and David Torn. Keyboardist and occasional second guitarist Joe Chorico also played with ENI  from 2000-2002.

ENI recorded one official studio CD as well as a self-produced colllection of home recordings and mixes.

Bio

ENI is the first CD recorded in 1999. Tracks 1-4 were recorded at Retteffects Studios in Milford, MA. Track 5 was recorded at Mass Comm school in Boston, MA by Aaron Casale. Track 7 was recorded by ENI at their studio in Attleboro, MA.

Out of Curiosity is a double CD comprised of tracks recorded by ENI between the years 2000 and 2003. Much of it is improvised or early renditions of songs later played live.

Tracks 8-31 are on this CD, while Tracks 32-44 feature bonus songs not included on either CD. Enjoy... It's FREE!
